The Maccabim Association – Education and football in the Community
Part of the club’s community activities are run in the framework of the Maccabim Association. The Maccabim Association is a not-for-profit educational and social welfare organisation, involved with Israeli children at all levels of the community, focusing on disadvantaged areas of the country. The aim of the association is to help all Israeli children to benefit from a supportive educational and social environment combining sports (specifically football), academic discipline and personal achievement as football players and as human beings in a productive society.
With the help of key figures with expertise in identifying the needs of the community, the club are able within this framework to actualise their community involvement in national projects, including those in the geographically, economically and socially more peripheral areas of the country
