Radonjic, scored 16 goals last season for Istara where he spent two seasons on loan from Dynamo Zagreb and will receive the number 99 shirt, told the official website after signing: “First I would like to thank Maccabi Tel Aviv for the opportunity I was given to prove my talents and at the same time thank Dynamo Zagreb who agreed for this move”.

Radonjic, who watched Maccabi’s match against Basel from the stands, shared his thoughts about the atmosphere at Bloomfield: “Yesterday I was the biggest Maccabi fan. We sat at a stadium with an amazing atmosphere and for 90 minutes I was part of the team. The fans were simply amazing. I heard a lot about Tel Aviv and the people in Israel, but I never believed how fanatic the fans are towards the team. It was simply fantastic”.
