Maccabi Tel Aviv's history with Hapoel Acco isn't very long but there are a few statistics that are really worth knowing. Yaron Mishal has been sorting it all out for us

1. A fly in the ointment: Maccabi Tel Aviv have never lost a league match to Acco at Bloomfield, but the only loss at home was very painful indeed, 0-4 to Acco in the last 16 of the the National Cup in the 2005/06 season. It was also the biggest loss Maccabi have suffered in all its cup history.

5. Maccabi's outstanding scorer against Acco is Viki Peretz with five goals. Eliran Atar is in second place with four.

11. The two clubs have met eleven times in the league, Maccabi leading with five victories to two for Hapoel Acco and four draws. Goal difference between the two clubs stands at 21 to 15, in Maccabi's favour.

13. Hapoel Acco arrive at Bloomfield on Saturday after thirteen consecutive games without a win. This run, that began with a 0-2 loss to Maccabi in the opposite fixture earlier this season, is the eighth longest losing streak in the league since the turn of the century.

35. Maccabi's biggest victory against Hapoel Acco occurred 35 years ago in the 1977/78 season, 5-0 with goals from Viki Peretz (2), Ori Saliman (2) and Yehuda Gargir.

36. The first meeting between the two clubs occured 36 years ago in the 1976/77 season. The Yellows, on their way that season to an historic double, were leading the league newcomers 3-0 ( two from Viki Peretz and one from Avraham Levi) but in the end the visitors from Acco managed to equalise 3-3 after a dramatic late goal from Shalom Asayag.
