Roizman joined Hapoel Jerusalem on-loan
Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and Hapoel Jerusalem reached an agreement on a one-season-long loan-deal of Or Roizman.
The 21-year-old winger scored last season 4 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions whilst on loan with Sektzia Nes Ziona.

hortly after landing in Madrid yesterday (Sunday), Maccabi Tel Aviv held their first training session at the Spanish FA’s complex Cuidad del Furbol. At the end of the session which focussed mostly around fitness and posession at high intensity, Robbie Keane spoke to his players.

After Monday’s morning session at the Spanish FA’s complex, the team will head down to Marbella and continue the pre-season camp where they face South African outfit Orlando Pirates and Premiership side Bournmouth.
Sarachan and Stack join Coaching staff
Maccabi Tel Aviv FC are delighted to welcome both Dave Sarachan (69) and Graham Stack (41) as our new first team Assistant Coach and Goalkeeping coach respectively.

Appointed as Maccabi’s Assistant Coach, Sarachan, will work alongside Head Coach Robbie Kean and Assistant Coach, Rory Delap. The highly experienced American previously worked for the Puerto Rico FA as National Team Manager and Technical Director (2021-2022) and had two stints with the United States FA as the U.S National Team Assistant and Caretaker Manager (1999-2002 and 2017-2018). At club and college level, Sarachan, enjoyed a successful career working for North Carolina and won trophies with LA Galaxy, Chicago Fire and DC United.

Stack, who will join Keane’s back-room staff as Goalkeeping Coach from Colchester United began last season with Championship side Cardiff City but following a change of management left his role. Prior to 2022, Stack had spent four years at Watford as First Team Goalkeeping Coach and Academy Goalkeeping Coordinator of the Vicarage Road club.
A product of Arsenal’s Youth Academy, Stack made a handful of appearances for Arsenal and around 350 career appearances. Stack has also represented the Republic of Ireland U21’s.
Maccabi depart for pre-season in Spain
Maccabi stepped up preparations ahead of the the 2023/24 as Robbie Keane’s side travelled to Madrid this morning (Sunday) for the pre-season training camp in Marbella.

The training camp will take place in Marbella until July 18th during which the team will hold two practice matches against South African giants Orlando Pirates (13.7) and Premier League outfit Bournmouth (16.7).
Milson signs for Maccabi
Felicio Mendes Joao Milson completed his transfer from Russian outfit FC Pari Nizhniy Novgorod, received the number 17 jersey and will travel with the team to Spain on pre-season, after successfully completing his medical and signing at Maccabi initially until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Maccabi beat Ashdod 1-0 in friendly
Maccabi’s preparations for the 2023/24 campaign continued as newly appointed Head Coach, Robbie Keane, saw his players beat fellow top-flight club Ashdod SC 1-0 at a friendly in Kiryat Shalom. Eran Zahavi scored the only goal of the game as he successfully converted a penalty in the first half. Dor Peretz, who was tripped in the box by Ashdod’s Martin Atemengue, was the only international to feature in the match. Keane allowed Israel’s trio Dan Glazer, Gabi Kanichowsky and Ofir Davidzada as well as Djordje Jovanovic who played for Serbia during the international break – a bit more time to rest.

New signing Yvann Macon who joined Maccabi earlier this week and is gradually integrated into the team, was also watching his teammates from the sidelines.
A day after being knocked out by England in the U21 European Championship Semi Finals – Daniel Peretz, Roy Revivo and Dor Turgeman were also absent and will be given a much-needed rest. One player who did make his first appearance in a Maccabi shirt was goalkeeper Roei Misphati who joined the club in the summer.
Maccabi’s preparations will shift a gear on Sunday as the team will head out to Spain and hold a pre-season training camp in Marbella.

Maccabi agrees terms with Milson
Felicio Mendes Joao Milson is set to join Maccabi from Russian outfit FC Pari Nizhniy Novgorod, after agreements have been reached, subject to a medical, for the transfer of the 23-year-old Angola international forward.

Maccabi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, said: “We are happy to have agreed terms with Milson. We all believe Milson brings qualities that will result in him making a substantial contribution to the Club. As mentioned by Mitch at the recent press conference, additional player announcements will follow.”
Milson, who scored 1 goal in 3 international appearances for Angola, spent most of his playing career in Portugal with Leixoes and Martimo (2019-2022) before being transferred to Russia in February 2022. At Nizhny, Milson scored 2 goals in 29 appearances before a six-month-long loan spell to Turkish outfit MKE Ankaragucu last February resulted with 5 goals and 1 assist in 12 appearances.
Roy Nawi signs new 3-year-deal
Roy Nawi (181cm) will continue at Maccabi Tel Aviv for the next three years after signing a new contract until the end of the 2025/26.
After signing his new contract, Nawi, who will join Hapoel Petah Tikva on a season-long-loan, told the club’s official website: After a dream year which began last summer with Israel’s U19’s in Slovakia and continued this summer in Argentina – I am happy to fulfil another dream. My target now is to go out on loan and return and more mature and experienced player”.

Maccabi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, added: “We are all delighted that Roy has signed a new, longer-term contract at Maccabi. Roy has had a strong last 12 months which culminated in a successful U20 World Cup campaign this summer. We are all looking forward to watching his development while on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva.”
Nawi joined Maccabi’s Youth Department at the age of 11 before rising through the ranks and scoring 10 goals in 31 appearances last season for the U19’s Maccabi Tel Aviv ‘Schahar’.
Nawi, was part of Israel’s successful U20 campaign which resulted with a third place and bronze medal in the 2023 World Cup in Argentina. In the summer of 2022 Navi was part of the Israel U19 side that won the silver medal in European Championship final. Overall Navi represented the young Israeli national sides on 20 international matches scoring 1 goal – the equalizer in the 2-1 victory over Japan.
Baye signs new 3-year-deal
Orel Baye (178) will continue at Maccabi Tel Aviv for the next three years after signing a new contract until the end of the 2025/26 season.
After signing his new contract, Baye, who will join Hapoel Hadera on a season-long-loan, told the club’s official website: “Since joining Maccabi at the age of 13 I dreamed of signing a professional contract and playing for the senior side. Today I made my first significant step on the way to fulfil that dream, but the real hard work begins now.”

Maccabi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, added: “We are pleased that another one of our bright young talents has committed his long-term future to Maccabi and is going to have a top-flight loan experience at such a young age. We look forward to watching Orel continue to progress this season.”
Baye, who made his senior debut in March 2022 at a State Cup Quarter Final tie against Maccabi Jaffa, scored last season 8 goals in 19 appearances for the youth team Maccabi Tel Aviv ‘Schahar’.
Baye was part of the Israel U19 side that in the summer of 2022 won the silver medal in the U19 European Championship finals. Baye has 2 goals to his name represented Israel’s young national sides on 10 international matches.
