Yuval Avidor grew up in HaPoel Haifa and in the 2006/07 season he was the top scorer for the club's senior team. Avidor came to Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2009/10, after two years with Ironi Kiryat Shmona, scoring 24 goals, as one of the most prominent forwards in the Premier League. In his first yellow and blue season, Avidor scored 8 goals with Maccabi Tel Aviv ranking third in the Premier League. He opened his second season well with a goal in the European league against Paris Saint Germain in the 4-3 victory in Bloomfield, but continued with just one more goal in the league, leaving the team at the end of the season.
