tay Zaafrani (3) put Maccabi in front with his 25th goal of the season before Haifa leveled the score through Omer Konchiorak (13). Eran Ginat (34) restored Maccabi’s lead while Konchiorak equalised again a minute later. Four minutes after the restart Rani Rival put Maccabi in front for the third time which proved to be the winning goal.
After the match Romann dedicated the championship to the Brickman family: “This championship is a result of a lot of hard work at the best youth department in Israel as these players worked under numerous coaches from a really young age. I would like to thank the club’s management for their massive support but above all dedicate this victory to the Brickman family as the team is named after Shahar Brickman who died several years ago but also for Gidon Brickman who passed away last month”.
