Owing to derby crowd disturbances, Maccabi Tel Aviv's U19s incur fine and two-match spectator ban

This morning (Thursday) the disciplinary court of the Israeli Football Association turned their attention to the crowd disturbances that occurred two weeks ago at the Kiryat Shalom derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv's Under-19s and their counterparts from municipal rival Hapoel Tel Aviv. As a result of their deliberations, Maccabi Tel Aviv "Shachar" will be fined NIS 5000 and play their next two home matches without spectators. "Shachar"'s next match is an away tie against Hapoel Ramat Hasharon, followed by a home encounter against Hapoel Rishon Lezion.
