MTA striker Eliran Atar made his debut for the senior national side while young international Moannes Dabbur scored for the Under-21s in friendlies against Belarus

In a double performance at Jerusalem's Teddy Stadium today, six Maccabi Tel Aviv players appeared in the blue-and-white kit of the Israel national team in international friendlies against both the senior and the Under-21 sides of Belarus. In the first of the two matches Israel's Under-21s, who are preparing for the Euro Under-21 Championships to be held in Israel in June, beat their Belarus counterparts 2-0, with two young MTA stars, striker Moannes Dabbur and midfielder Dor Micha, among coach Guy Luzon's squad.  Carrying on where he left off last month in his last national appearance when he netted a brace against Belgium, Dabbur scored the match's first goal after an excellent pass by Maccabi Haifa's young midfielder Ayal Golsa. Striker Omri Altman, currently with Fulham in the English Premier League, scored Israel's second goal. Dor Micha came on as a substitute five minutes from time.

Four Maccabi Tel Aviv players were included in the senior Israel squad that lost to their Belarus counterparts 2-1 in the second match of the day. Defender Eitan Tibi played the full 90 minutes, midfielders Gal Alberman and Maharan Radi played one half each. After missing the last two World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg through injury, striker Eliran Atar made his maiden appearance for the national side, coming on off the bench in the 67th minute.
