Tonight Maccabi Tel Aviv were drawn to play away at Ashdod FC in the round of 32 of the Israel Football Association State Cup. The match will be held at the end of this month at Ashdod’s “Yud-Alef “ Stadium, either on the 28th or the 29th of January.  Maccabi Tel Aviv and the other thirteen clubs of the Israeli Premier League were joined in the draw by Hapoel Ramat Gan, Maccabi Yavne, Maccabi Um-Al-Fahm and Achi Nazareth from Israel’s second tier (“HaLeumit”) as automatic entrants, along with fourteen other emergent winners from the competition’s last round played out among the clubs in Israel's lower divisions.
