For Maccabi Tel Aviv's Under-14 Team North, the imminent start of their new league season has not prevented them from focusing on matters no less important than their achievements on the pitch. Today they laid a reef at the Tel Aviv War Memorial during a ceremony organised by Israel's Olympic Committee to commemorate the massacre of Israeli sportsmen at the Munich Olympics in 1972. The ceremony was attended among other dignitaries by the Israeli minister of Sports Limor Livnat and speaker of the Israeli parliament Ruvi Rivlin. The youngsters' contribution was greeted with great approval by the members of the committee.
