Maccabi Tel Aviv FC today announced: "After studying video footage of the Tel Aviv Derby the Club have written to a number of supporters to give them the opportunity to explain their actions, actions which have resulted in the Club having to face a hearing at the Israel Football Association Disciplinary Court. The Club will act strongly to ensure that the minority of supporters who bring the Club into disrepute do not tarnish the good name of Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and the vast majority of their supporters."
