Join Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club and FanZone for a real Purim celebration!

This week will see two of the most exciting events of the calendar year take place practically on the same day. Tomorrow night (Wednesday) Maccabi will host title rivals Ironi Kiryat Shmona at Bloomfield Stadium for the return leg of the coveted State Cup quarter finals. And on Thursday all of Israel will be celebrating the festive Jewish holiday of Purim, renowned for its special cakes, its all-day festivities and most all, its fantastic holiday costumes. To mark this happy coincidence Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club in collaboration with FanZone have decided to organise a special Purim competition for all Maccabi fans going to the match. All you have to do is enter your profile on the FanZone page of the official Maccabi website along with a picture of yourself dressed in your finest Maccabi Purim gear. Three of those costumes will be entered into our special Purim costume contest and the owner of the winning costume, chosen by Maccabi fans themselves, will win nothing less than two tickets to Israel's upcoming Euro qualifiers against Wales and Belgium!

Here's how you enter the competition. Go now to the FanZone page of the official Maccabi website and update your profile, including your date of birth, your address, your gender, your email and your mobile phone number. Then above upload that very special picture of yourself kitted out in your favourite Maccabi Purim duds. There's also room to add your favourite Maccabi player (past and present) and the Maccabi game you remember most. And that's it, you're in! The rest is just waiting to hear next week which three of those pictures have been chosen to enter the competition.

And it goes without saying that Wednesday night at Bloomfield Stadium would be the perfect opportunity for all Maccabi fans to come to the match dressed in their very own Purim costume and to enjoy all the other Purim activities in store starting at 6.30pm. So come down early, join in on the fun and cheer Maccabi on to the victory that will earn them a place in the semi-finals of the State Cup competition.
