Tonight at 20:30 Maccabi Tel Aviv will take to the Bloomfield Stadium pitch against Czech league champions Viktoria Plzen in the first-leg of the UEFA Champions League third round qualifying matches. Midfielder Nosa Igiebor shared a few thoughts right before this crucial encounter and gave us the keys to victory for the Yellow-and-Blue

"We know how important this game is tomorrow and we're ready both mentally and physically. I think the X-Factor for us to win the game is to stay disciplined and compact. We have to come out motivated and press right from the beginning of the game and play as a team."

When talking about Maccabi's opponent, the midfielder commented: "To be honest I don't know much about Viktoria Plzen other than watching a few of their games on TV. But we will watch videos of the team and get other information about them that coach Jokanovic will give us.

For me every team is beatable and we can beat them at home if we all go out and do our job well. With the fans behind us and playing on our pitch I believe in the team and I believe in the boys. We will all go out there and fight."

Igiebor was very modest in his assessment of his play over the last two games and had a special message for the supporters: "I just want to continue to do my best for Maccabi and the fans. For sure we want all of the fans to come out and cheer for us and that will be a huge motivation. Let them come out to Bloomfield in large numbers!"
