For the last time this season, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa will do battle as they kick off this evening at Sammy Ofer Stadium (20:15) on Matchday 34 of the Ligat Ha’Al. So far each club has recorded a win and there has been one draw between the two sides, the last contest against Maccabi Haifa at Sammy Ofer resulted in a dramatic 2:2 draw thanks to a late goal by Vidar Kjartansson.

After falling to Hapoel Beer Sheva 2:1 last Matchday and were officially eliminated from the title race, the Yellow & Blue stated that they will battle for every remaining point until the end of the campaign in order to come into the State Cup Final ready to go.

Who’s in the squad?

Lito Vidigal will have almost a full squad at his disposal as Eitan Tibi and Eli Dasa return from injury this week and will be included in the Matchday 34 team. Barak Itzhaki will still be out due to injury while the Greens won’t have Omer Damari, Kamil Vacek, Holmar Eyjolfsson and Nikita Rukavytsya available.
