The last Matchday of qualification for the 2018 World Cup saw two Yellow & Blue stars advance to Russia: Predrag Rajikovic and Serbia moved on to the tournament as did striker Vidar Kjartansson of Iceland.

Serbia could have advanced last Matchday but fell to Austria making them wait for the contest with Georgia to move on to Russia from first place in Group 4. Rajiko didn’t take part in the 1:0 win but celebrated with his teammates as his side automatically advanced to the 2018 World Cup.

After playing in Euro 2016, Iceland will now write yet another page in their history books after punching their ticket to the World Cup. Vidar Kjartansson was part of the squad but didn’t play in the win.

The Israel National Team also ended their campaign after falling to Spain 1:0 at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem. The Yellow & Blue had four players in the Starting XI as Eitan Tibi, Ofir Davidzada, Eliran Atar and captain Tal Ben Haim all featured in the last two matches.
