Jordi Cruyff, the Maccabi Tel Aviv Head Coach looked back at his club’s 1:1 draw against Ashdod on Matchday 11 at the Netanya Stadium:

“We’re disappointed with the result and it’s not good enough if you want to win. You can’t give away the presents that we gave away. We were soft and we lost a lot of simple balls in the midfield and we couldn’t impose our game. It’s disappointing for the fans.”

Getting back into playing shape:
“Some players have only played a few games over the last 4 months. But we have to be stronger and continue to fight.”

Trying to win the league:
“If you want to win the league you have to win against all of the opponents. We haven’t had good showings against teams at the bottom. This in inexcusable to lose points at home.”

The fans being disappointed:
“The fans have all the reason to complain and the staff and players have to accept that. They are right to do so.”
