Dor Peretz, the Yellow & Blue midfielder is ready for first leg second round Europa League qualifying action as he addressed the assembled media ahead of the training session before tomorrow’s match against Radnicki, 20:00 at the Netanya Stadium:

“I think we are looking better every match and our goal is to advance to the next round. But right now we have to focus on the match at hand against Radnicki. Together with the support of our fans that is what we want to do.”

Preparations for the match:
“The staff has prepared us well and we will come into the match ready to go. I will do whatever the coach asks of me as that is my responsibility and my role. I am happy that I am opening the season well and I always have to be focussed and look ahead.”

Maccabi signing home grown players to long term contracts:
“As someone who did something similar in signing a long term contract, I hope that as many as possible will be part of the team and become mainstays at the club.”

Having the first leg at home:
“We prepared for this match as a home match and that’s a very important point. We definitely want to go to Serbia with a good result.”

Continuing to improve as an individual as well as the Club:
“There’s no question that I have room to improve and I’m sure we will all see that as time goes by that’s the same case with the whole club.”
