Dan Glazer and Maccabi Tel Aviv stepped onto the Bloomfield turf on Sunday but the side ended their much-awaited TASE Premier League clash with Bnei Yehuda in a frustrating goalless draw. This was the midfielder’s perspective.

“It was thrilling to be back at Bloomfield, this was a memorable experience” Glazer said.

“We always want to win every game we play, especially on this special occasion on our return to the new stadium. We wanted to make the crowd happy after they supported us from the kickoff but we are disappointed that we weren’t able to do so, although we will persevere,” he insisted. “I think we are working hard in training, we are only at the start of the season but today we showed that we are a tough team even after being left a player short. There are matches in which it is important not to lose, particularly when the circumstances dictate a difficult situation but I am certain that the coaching staff will ensure that we will look better as the season continues,” Glazer said.

He vowed to continue to work on his own game: “I need to see the recording of my own performance to see where I need to improve. Certainly, I need to work more on the attacking aspects of my game.”
