Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Dan Glazer told reporters at Thursday’s pre-match news conference ahead the TASE Premier League clash with Hapoel Hadera in Netanya on Saturday (kickoff 19:50) that he was confident of more success.

“We work hard and look for every detail and we train hard to be able to look our best. I am playing well and the team is too,” he said.

“We are exactly halfway through the season and we look only at ourselves, we just hope we don’t falter at any point.”

“We have just completed a tactical briefing ahead of the game, it’s going to be a tough one. Hadera will close down their defence and go for counter-attacks. It worked for them first time and we didn’t win but I hope we can win this time.”

“We prepare for every possible situation in training and the fact that we have conceded only four goals in 18 games tells you all you need to know about us. We are Maccabi Tel Aviv and we want to win all our games.”

“The game against Maccabi Haifa was a crazy game and we scored four times but in some games there aren’t many chances so you have to take them when they come along.”

“We should have scored one against Beitar to win, but we didn’t.”
