Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Goal of the Season competition has reached the semi-final stage which will be played out today (Sunday) and your votes will decide tomorrow’s finalists as Eyal Golasa faces off against Yonatan Cohen and Itay Shechter confronts Omer Atzili.
The players competing have created many exciting moments this season that have left us cheering wildly, with some spectacular goals. So while real play is suspended, we devised a knockout “tournament” for the best goal of the season and your votes are deciding which is the best goal scored so far this season.
The competition began at the quarter-final stage and the eight players who qualified to participate have each scored at least three goals this season. We chose their best efforts to represent them in the voting and now it’s up to you to view the two semi-final clips and vote for your finalists.
