Dan Biton completed his transfer from Bulgarian side PFC Ludogorets Razgrad after the 26-year-old midfielder successfully underwent a medical at the club and signed a contract until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Biton, who will wear the number 10 shirt, told the club’s official website: “I am delighted to continue at Maccabi Tel Aviv, a club I was exposed to its magnitude last year. I am also happy to remain at a place I connected with and players I got to know last season. Now is my time to prove the trust shown in me and help the team achieve it’s goals and targets””

Barak Itzhaki, Head of Maccabi’s football department, added: “We are delighted to add Dan to Maccabi and are certain that he could fulfil his potential and assist us in the coming years”.

In 43 appearances in all competitions, Biton made during his loan spell from Ludogorets last season, he scored seven goals, four of which in the league. Biton, who was instrumental during Maccabi’s successful Europa League campaign, scored three goals in 12 appearances in Europe
