Maccabi Tel Aviv wishes to thank Daniel Tenenbaum for his services to the club during his seven unforgettable seasons in Yellow and Blue during which he won 8 titles.

Tenenbaum has ended seven successful seasons at Maccabi Tel Aviv during which he protected Maccabi’s goal 110 times in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in 63 and contributing 2 assists. The 28-year-old keeper won 8 trophies at Maccabi: 2 League Championships (18/19 and 19/20), a State Cup (20/21), 3 Toto Cups (17/18, 18/19 and 20/21) as well as 2 Super Cups (19/20 and 20/21).

Tenenbaum, who joined Maccabi from Brazilian giants Flamengo in the summer of 2016 and his first season (16/17) was part of the EUROPA League group phase campaign. The Brazilian born custodian, who emigrated to Israel and completed his military service in the IDF made his Maccabi debut in July 2017. At the end of that season, Tenenbaum was part of the team that won the League Championship and Toto Cup (18/19). The following season, Tenenbaum became Maccabi’s first choice keeper and set a new Israeli record of keeping a clean sheet for 1272 minutes (13 matches) at the end of which won another League title (19/20).

Tenenbaum made 14 international appearances for Maccabi in European competitions, playing a key role in the (20/21) qualification to the EUROPA League Round of 32 a season which culminated with 3 trophies.
