Dominic Price has been appointed as Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Technical Director. The 32-year Englishman has joined from Liverpool FC where he was a senior member of Liverpool FC’s analysis department. Price worked as one of Jurgen Klopp’s senior analysts with specific focus on elite player development.
As Owner, Mitch Goldhar, explained at the recent press conference unveiling Robbie Keane as Head Coach, Dominic’s appointment is part of the strategy to enhance the Club’s recruitment and performance capabilities.
Maccabi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, stated: “Dominic will manage all technical aspects of the First Team operations including recruitment, performance analysis, sports science data and its interaction with the medical department. Dominic will also further embed best practice across Maccabi’s Youth Academy in the same areas as we look to drive forward with greater analysis and integration of data to support the Club’s continued progression. We are convinced Dominic’s proven skills and attributes will help push Maccabi forward.”
In addition, Kobi Michaeli will join Maccabi as Head of Recruitment Analysis from Olympiacos and is part of our continued investment into the technical capability of the Club. Michaeli, who worked as a Data Scout at Olympiacos, previously worked in a similar position at Vitesse Arnehem (2019-2022) and Maccabi Haifa (2017-2019).
