Hisham Layous joined Maccabi Tel Aviv FC after the 23-year-old winger successfully completed a medical at the Club and signed a three-year-deal with an option to extend by a further season.
After signing his contract, Layous, who will receive the number 33 jersey at Maccabi, told the Club’s official website: “I am delighted to sign for Maccabi Tel Aviv and looking forward to challenge for titles and compete in Europe.”
Layous, who made 9 appearances for Israel’s U21’s between 2021-2023, made his senior debut for SC Kafr Qassem at the age of 21.
During two seasons with the second division side, Layous, scored 10 goals in 58 appearances in all competitions. In the summer of 2022 Layous switched to Hapoel Tel Aviv and in two seasons of top-flight football scored a total of 9 goals in 61 appearances in all competitions.
