Osher Davida spoke following the 0-0 draw against Beitar Jerusalem at Teddy Stadium, making no effort to hide his frustration with the result: “We feel disappointed and that we let this slip away. We did more than enough to win. There were chances for both sides, it could have been a match with lots of goals and great entertainment for the fans watching at home, but bottom line, I think we should have won this game.”

The winger addressed the team’s control and the clear opportunities created: “At the start of the first half and especially in the final half-hour, we created very significant chances – myself, Dor (Peretz), and Gabi (Kanichowsky). We only have ourselves to blame because we truly did more than enough. We had plenty of goal-scoring opportunities and it’s frustrating that the ball didn’t go in, but I really hope that come Saturday we’ll manage to put the ball in the back of the net.”

Davida was also asked about the dressing room atmosphere surrounding competition for the starting lineup: “Naturally, anyone who isn’t playing isn’t happy, but it doesn’t create bad energy. The players we have on the bench are very good, quiet, hard-working, and humble guys. They are patient, they will get their chance, and they will prove themselves.”

Finally, the player reflected on the battle at the top of the Premier League: “I don’t remember a season starting like this, with all the top clubs so tightly packed at the summit. Time will tell what happens moving forward. As a spectator watching at home, it must be nice and very enjoyable to see this tension, but as far as we’re concerned, we want to be in first place and as high as possible.”
