Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club’s Privacy Policy – VR Application

  1. General
    1. Maccabi Tel-Aviv Football Club Limited Partnership (“Maccabi” or “we” or “us” or “our”) is the provider and operator of MaccabiVerse application “MaccabiVerse” (the “Application”). The usage of the Application is subject to the guidelines provided in this Privacy Policy.
    2. We respect the privacy of our users (“User” or “you”). This privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit our Application including any other media form, media channel, mobile, or website related or connected thereto (collectively included in the Application). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Application.
    3. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. When we change the Privacy Policy, we will let you know by updating this Privacy Policy on the Application. Any change will usually only affect the data we collect after the new Privacy Policy has been published. Any data we collected before the changes will still be covered by the old Privacy Policy. You waive the right to receive specific notice of each change or modification. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy policy is posted.
    4. By using the Application, you give your consent to Maccabi to collect and store information about you in the Maccabi’s database, including sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Protection Law, 5711, 1981 (the “Privacy Law”) – whether it is provided directly by you or whether it is received or produced indirectly.
    5. By using the application, you confirm that the delivery of the information by you is done voluntarily and upon your free consent and constitutes your agreement that Maccabi will be entitled to use this information subject to the provisions of the Privacy Law and this Privacy Policy and store the provided data unless you explicitly requested to cease and delete the stored personal information.
  2. The types of data we collect
    1. We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Application includes:
      1. Personal Data such as your name and address, date of birth, the payment methods you used, the telephone number and demographic information such as your age, gender, hometown and interests that you knowingly and willingly provide when you register to the Application;
      2. Derivative Data which our servers automatically collect when you access the Application such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system and your access times. This Derivative Data may also include your device name and type, your phone number and country, advertisements that you read on the Application, the pages you viewed and the offers and services that interested you;
      3. Mobile Device Data such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer and information about the location of your device;
      4. Transaction and payment data such as typical credit card information (name, address, credit card number, expiration date and security code) and items purchased by you in the Application and your delivery address;
      5. Information from third parties such as personal information or network friends, if you connect your account to the third party and grant the Application permission to access this information;
      6. Mobile application information which includes Geo-Location information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our Application, to provide location-based services. if you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings. We also may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings;
      7. In case you are a member of the Maccabi “Forever” club, such information will be collected and stored by us as well; and
      8. Any other personal data whenever you explicitly provide it to us as part of communication with others or when you provide feedback or other user generated content and information you provide to us when participating in competitions, contests and tournaments or responding to surveys.
    2. For avoidance of doubt, you are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the Application
  3. How we use your information
    1. The information collected will be stored in our database and under our responsibility. We may use your information collected about you via the Application in accordance with this Privacy Policy or according to the provisions of any law, to:
      1. Analyze the users of the Application and their interests and preferences;
      2. Personalize the user’s experience and authenticate users in the Application;
      3. Development and improvement of products, services and content offered in the Application;
      4. Manage and adjust advertisements and marketing offers to user in the Application;
      5. Compile anonymous statistical data and analysis for use internally or with third party;
      6. Fulfill and manage purchases, orders, payments and other transactions related to the Application;
      7. Increase the efficiency and operation of the Application;
      8. Allow the use of various services in the Application;
      9. Modify or cancel existing services and content in the Application;
      10. Purchase products and services – including publishing information and content;
      11. Provide users with notifications regarding the services provided and/or will be provided by Maccabi and/or anyone on its behalf;
      12. Provide support and service to the user, by Maccabi and/or through third parties.
    2. The information collected may be also used by us for security purposes and for internal data analysis and review purposes.
  4. Disclosure of your information

    We may share your information we have collected about you in certain situation. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

    1. By law or to protect rights – if we believe that the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule or regulation. This includes exchanging information with other entities for fraud protection and credit risk reduction
    2. Third-party service provider – we may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service and marketing assistance.
    3. Interactions with other users – if you interact with other users of the Application, those users may see your name, profile photo and description of your activity.
    4. Affiliates– we may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. We also may share your information with our affiliates to offer you certain products, services or promotions.
    5. Social media contacts – if you connect to the Application through a social media network, your contacts on the social media network will see your name, profile photo and descriptions of your activity.
    6. Sale or bankruptcy – if we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another party, we may transfer your information to the successor entity subject to prior notice being given before transferring the information to such successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the transferee may decline honor commitments we made in this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

  5. Tracking technologies

    We do not use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels and other tracking technologies on the Application. For avoidance of doubt, your information is not collected through the use of tracking technology. We reserve the right to use cookies and other similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, ad tags and device identifiers) to help us analysis how users use the Application, as well as to improve the services we are offering, to improve marketing, analytics or website functionality. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, in case this Privacy Policy will be updated in which we may use tracking technologies, the decision of whether to accept or not is yours. You may adjust your browser settings to prevent the reception of cookies, or to provide notifications whenever cookies are sent to you, but be aware that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Application.

     

  6. Links to other sites or applications

    Please note that our Privacy Policy will not apply to other websites or applications that you get to via a link from our Application. We have no control over how your data is collected, stored or used by other websites or applications and we advise you to check the privacy policy of any such websites or applications before providing any data to them.

  7. How we keep your information safe
    1. We take the protection of your data very seriously and we work hard to keep your personal information safe and secure. We use tools and techniques to monitor and protect the data we collect and use about you such as using RDS by Amazon, EC2 and Cloudflare Firewall. Please be aware that despite our efforts, there is always some risk when storing data or sending it over the internet. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.
    2. If you create an account in the Application, you may need to create a password. It is important to keep this password to yourself and not to share it with anyone. You are responsible for making sure nobody else can access your account using your password or device.
    3. According to the Privacy Law, you have the right to review the information about you which is held in our database. If you find that all or part of the information about you in not correct, complete, clear or updated, you may contact us at the contact details sets below, with a request to correct such information or to delete it.
