Ofir Davidzada

Maccabi Tel Aviv FC reached an agreement with Belgian outfit Gent for the loan deal of Ofir Davidzada for one season. The 26-year-old left-back joined Gent from Hapoel Be’ersheva last season and has since played in Belgium.


The 27-year-old left-back scored 4 goals in 50 appearances for Maccabi with 14 coming in Europa League qualifying and group stages. Davidzada scorned 4 goals and also picked up 4 assists and was part of the team that lifted the Toto Cup with a win over Hapoel Beer Sheva. At the end of the season when his loan was over, the defender returned to his Belgium club.


On September 2018 Maccabi  and Belgian side K.A.A. Gent reached an agreement for the sale of Davidzada who signed a 4 year-deal at the club with an option to extend the contract by one year


– Davidzada, made 11 appearances in all competitions, assisting in two goals during the 2018/19 season that resulted with a convincing league title. The experienced left-back, added another championship plate to his trophy cabinet, after appearing 13 times in the Yellow and Blue strip to win the 24th league title in the club’s history.
