In an interview in tonight's match programme for the game against Hapoel Beer Sheva, defender Carlos Garcia tells us what it was like, among other things, to play for the first time with his country's greatest stars

In an interview in tonight's match programme for the game against Hapoel Beer Sheva, defender Carlos Garcia had this to say: "When I was fifteen I played in a friendly tournament in France against Gabon and so far I can remember we won 2-0. That's an amazing feeling to be playing alongside the best players in your country, guys like Fernando Torres, Andreas Iniesta, Sergio Ramos and Sergio Garcia. With the youth squad we won the European championship for under 16's with a 1-0 win against France."

Garcia is now finishing his tenth year as a professional footballer, but he'll never forget his first pair of football boots: "I still have them somewhere at my mum and dad's home in Spain. Black boots with white stripes like the ones on Puma. They still look brand new because my feet were growing so fast in those days I hardly got a chance to wear them. I can't remember the brand, something like Puma."

The new and improved match programmes will be on sale at the merchandising tent and at stands close to the ticket office at the stadium. Hostesses will also be circulating among the fans in the stands during the match and selling programmes for the attractive price of only 5 shekels each. In the programme you'll also find new stories straight from the club's dressing room, special offers worth hundreds of shekels and a coupon to participate in the raffle for a season ticket for all of  next season's Maccabi Tel Aviv matches.
