Yesterday once again Maccabi Tel Aviv fans were invited to an Open House at the Kiryat Shalom training grounds
Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club's tradition of opening their gates to their most loyal fans continued yesterday afternoon with yet another Open House at the Kiryat Shalom training grounds. Here was one more opportunity for the club's supporters to come and visit their favourite Maccabi Tel ASviv stars just as the season is approaching its end. Once again the eager arrivals were able to spend their time waiting for the players to arrive by running on the pitch and kicking at the goals that were specially prepared for them. With the appearance of the players, the whole area was awash with smartphones, cameras and microphones and every fan was treated to a picture or a greeting of warmest wishes for anyone with a birthday, a bar mitzvah or a wedding.
The fans were clearly overjoyed at Maccabi's victory in the derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv on Saturday and they wished the players good luck in the next match and for the rest of the season, which they no doubt hope will also bring big smiles to their faces. After the fans had departed, the players carried on with their evening training session in the run up to their next Tel Aviv derby, this time against Bnei Yehuda on Saturday at 9.10 P.M.
