The brother and two friends of Menni Levy, the Maccabi Tel Aviv player who collapsed during a league game 12 years ago, visited the Maccabi Tel Aviv offices today for the first time. The club owner, Mitch Goldhar, gave them a personal tour of the offices and stressed that in spite of his visit in Israel being short, it was important to him to meet with the Levy family. At the end of the visit, Goldhar presented Menni's brother with an official Maccabi Tel Aviv Europa League game shirt, personalised with the number 12 and Menni Levy's name. Menni's brother was very moved by the gesture, thanked Mr Goldhar and told him that during Maccabi's game this week in Switzerland against FC Basel, Menni will wear the shirt and the entire family will keep their fingers crossed for the team.
