The Maccabi Tel Aviv squad have landed in Switzerland and made their way to the city of Basel, site of their Europa League second leg contest on Thursday night. Tomorrow they'll hold their final practice at the local St. Jakob-Park

After a four-hour flight, the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad landed this evening at a chilly Zurich airport, where they were met by the club's first team manager Benny Tabak, who had arrived the previous day on a separate flight. At the airport the team boarded a coach that took them on the one-hour journey to Basel, where they disembarked at their hotel some ten minutes' drive from St. Jakob-Park, venue of their Europa League second leg contest on Thursday night. Despite a long day that began early in the morning in Tel Aviv with a practice at the Kiryat Shalom training ground, spirits among the team members were high. Tomorrow morning they'll enjoy a short tour of the city and in the afternoon a well-deserved rest before heading out to St. Jakob-Park for a final practice ahead of the encounter. Before the practice, Maccabi head coach Paulo Sousa will hold a customary pre-Europa League match press conference. All of the details from the final practice and the press conference will be carried on Maccabi Tel Aviv's official website and at their social networking pages.
