In honour of the fast approaching Jewish festival of Passover, Maccabi Tel Aviv hosted members of their Platinum Club for a showcase match against a side composed of the team's playing staff captained by head coach Paulo Sousa

This past week, Maccabi Tel Aviv's Kiryat Shalom training ground became the venue for a special event, as the club's Platinum Club members were invited for a showcase match against the senior team's professional staff, led by none other than the head coach himself, Paulo Sousa.

And what is a Maccabi Tel Aviv football match without a Maccabi Tel Aviv kit. In a private dressing room organised for the visiting side, the Platinum Club members were not only treated to a full match jersey and short but also to the services of a coach with unquestionable footballing experience, the senior team manager and former Maccabi Tel Aviv star Benny Tabak. At the other end, Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Paulo Sousa captained an impressive side composed of, among others, goalkeeping coach Alexander Uvarov, fitness coach Nacho Torreno and Maccabi Tel Aviv head scout and former Under-19 head coach Amir Turjeman. And after an exciting match that ended in a 3-1 victory for the club's playing staff, all the participants and their families retired to a special VIP area set up at pitchside for a meal and a chat.

Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club are committed to strengthening ties with their fans in general and with season ticket holders in particular. Hosting their Platinum Club members to mark the various holiday seasons is just one expression of the club's desire to remain in touch with the most devoted among their many, many supporters.
