The MTA squad have landed in Cyprus ahead of the second leg against Maribor

This afternoon the Maccabi Tel Aviv landed Larnaca in Cyprus, where tomorrow they'll host Slovenian champions NK Maribor in the second leg of their 3rd round Champions League qualifier. The first leg in Slovenia ended in a 1-0 defeat after a dramatic injury time goal by the home side. Tomorrow night Maccabi will be hoping to turn the result around and reach the Champions League play-off round. Kick-off is at 9pm and the match will be broadcast on the Israeli sports channel Sport 2. Ahead of tomorrow night's game the club will today hold their traditional pre-match press conference and immediately afterwards a pre-match practice at Larnaca's Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium where the match will be played. This the result of the temporary ban on clubs playing their home matches in Israel due to the country's current security situation.

Continuous updates of the team's sojourn in Cyprus will appear on Maccabi's official website and Facebook page.
