This evening the brand new "Barak10" collection was launched at Maccabi's official merchandise shop

Long-injured Barak Itzhaki, who only last night celebrated his return to full-match fitness with a brace in Maccabi's 1-4 State Cup win over Beitar Tel Aviv/Ramla, is now also making his mark on the club's official merchandise assortment. Two weeks after the release of midfielder Eran Zahavi's personal line, "EZ7", the official Maccabi Dizengoff shop tonight expanded their assortment of player-related merchandise by launching a personal collection of items bearing Barak Itzhaki's name, "Barak10". The emblem design was inspired by the literal meaning of Barak's first name, "lightning", an icon of which separates the striker's initials, B.I., and precedes his shirt number 10. The collection will also be on sale at the team's upcoming home tie against Hapoel Acre on Saturday night at the Bloomfield Stadium sales points.

Among those items in the collection are the now iconic snap-back cap the striker himself has been wearing to recent matches, a brand-name t-shirt featuring him scoring his famous overhead goal last year against Maccabi Haifa, a Barak Itzhaki caricature t-shirt and even a "Barak10" scarf. Also in the collection are 500 and 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles depicting that same famous overhead goal. All clothing items are available in a wide range of sizes, from children's to XXL.

Barak himself had this to say about the new collection: "The club have been working on the line bearing my name for some time, but the launch coincided with my return from injury. I'm happy the waiting is over, now that I played in this week's State Cup match. As a player I've still got a way to go before full recovery, but now that the t-shirts and the rest of the items are on sale, it can only mean one thing – I'm back!"

The "Barak 10" collection is on sale online at the official Maccabi Tel Aviv website and at the official Maccabi Tel Aviv merchandise shop, 147 Dizengoff St., Tel Aviv.
