Jordi Cruyff, Maccabi's Sporting Director said to the Official Website: "With a long, hard year ahead of us it's very important that some of the players on the squad can play multiple positions on the pitch. I'm sure that Oz will be up to the challenge with Maccabi Tel Aviv and I wish him the best of luck."

The 27-year old Raly who will also wear the 27 shirt, grew up in the Bnei Yehuda youth system and has played with the first team since 2005, said to the Official Website: "This is one of the happiest moments of my life. I made it to a big club with a huge following. It's a big honor for me to play for Maccabi and I'll do everything that I can for the club. I hope I can do the best job I can while wearing the Maccabi uniform. I want to succeed with Maccabi Tel Aviv especially this year as they have made it to the group stages of the Champions League."
