The Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club continues to strengthen its relationship with the larger community in various arenas. The Youth Department Director, Nir Levin spoke to “Movilim” an enrichment training program in which ten IDF officers learn advanced management techniques and concepts.

The officers first visited the Kiryat Shalom Training Facility where they were welcomed by Levin and given a short tour which was followed by his lecture. Following the meeting, Levin spoke about the encounter: “The group was in touch with our community relations department and we set up a time for them to visit us at Kiryat Shalom where I would speak to them about the organizational structure of the club and specifically about the youth department.”

Levin continued to explain the content of the lecture: “They were interested in our training program for players and coaches. The presentation and lecture was prepared especially for their group and their needs. I explained to them that on a day to day basis we work on empowering coaches and players, their management skills and motivation.” Levin summed up the positive experience saying: “It was an excellent get together. The program was originally designed to be two hours, but because of the interest and the ensuing discussions we met for three. All in all it was an excellent and enjoyable meeting.”
