Maccabi Tel Aviv FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Mansford as the Club’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Club Owner, Mitch Goldhar stated: “I am pleased to welcome Ben to Maccabi Tel Aviv FC. Ben’s background and experience is a welcome addition to our senior management team and I am looking forward to Ben helping to lead the Club forward on all fronts.” 

Mansford, told the Club’s official website: “I am delighted to be joining the premier and most successful club in Israeli history. I look forward to working with Mitch and everyone at  Maccabi Tel Aviv to bring further success on and off the pitch both in Israel and in Europe over the next few years for the Club’s magnificent supporters”.

Ben spent the last year as Chief Executive of Leeds United FC, a club he joined from fellow Yorkshire club Barnsley FC where he acted as Tykes’ CEO for three years, the last season of which culminated in promotion and winning the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Ben graduated in law from the University of Leicester before qualifying as a solicitor at Walker Morris Solicitors in Leeds and specialising in sports and in particular, football related matters.

Mansford’s experience in professional sport extends even further after leaving Walker Morris, he worked as an agent for leading global sports management outfit, Wasserman, which involved him managing the careers of professional athletes and advising on commercial licensing and sponsorship agreements.
