The striker arrived at Maccabi during the same summer and made his debut against the Montenegro side in the second round of Europa League qualifying. Itzhaki didn’t find the back of the goal in the contest but came very close with a shot that went off of the post. Maccabi was able to make do without the goal as they went on to win 2:0.
