Maccabi Tel Aviv FC is pleased to announce that it has exercised the option to complete the permanent transfer of Kristijan Belić from AZ Alkmaar.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who joined Maccabi on loan during the 2025/26 season, will remain at the club after the purchase option included in the loan agreement was activated.
Belić, who made 23 appearances in all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign, becomes Maccabi’s first signing ahead of the 2026/27 season. Following the activation of the option, the
Serbian midfielder is under contract with the club for the next three seasons, with Maccabi holding an option to extend the agreement by a further year.
Since arriving at the club, Belić has established himself as an important member of the squad, and Maccabi is delighted to secure his long-term future in Yellow & Blue until at least the end of the 2028/29 season.
