Yonatan Cohen’s fine form in December has earned him the BSR Player of the Month award as chosen by the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans.

Two goals, including one in the Derby, and four assists made Yonatan the overwhelming pick for the accolade, as 75 percent of fans named him as their favoured player for December. Omer Atzili, who also had a great month with two goals against Bnei Yehuda and another against Hapoel Kfar Sava, was second and gained 10 percent of the vote share.

The first person to send back a correct answer will win two tickets to an upcoming Maccabi home game, a shirt signed by Yonatan Cohen and a scarf. The prizes will be awarded by Yonatan at the official club shop.

Daniel Tenenbaum has been named the B.S.R. player of the month for November after his record-breaking performances between the posts, keeping a clean sheet since the start of the season, and a total of 1,083 minutes overall, breaking the national record that has stood for 30 years.

Tenenbaum was voted by the fans into first place ahead of Yonatan Cohen, who scored three times in the past month.

 

Maccabi Tel Aviv have reached the summit of the TASE Premier League and have done so in special circumstances, by keeping their goalmouth shut for the entire campaign so far, an all-time Israeli record.

It’s now time to vote for your choice for the outstanding player of the month sponsored by BSR. One lucky voter will win a pair of tickets to a Maccabi home game and a team shirt and scarf signed by the chosen player of the month who will present the prize at the club’s official merchandise store.

All you need to do is choose the player from the list below. The ballot will be open for 48 hours from Sunday at 14:00 until Tuesday at 14:00.

All those who have chosen the player of the month will receive a text message at 17:00 on Tuesday with a question and the first to answer it correctly will win the prize.

The closest ever poll to choose a player of the month has seen Maccabi Tel Aviv fans pick Dan Glazer as October’s choice.

The midfielder has been a main part of Maccabi’s impressive defensive record in the past month and has contributed greatly to the nine clean sheets the team have managed to accrue in TASE Premier League play this season.

Glazer was chosen ahead of striker Chico Ofoedu, who achieved the second highest total of votes, but it was a close run thing as after the first count, the two players ended up with the same number of votes and an extension to the voting deadline was needed to determine the winner.

Goalkeeper Daniel Tenenbaum, who has kept his goal tightly shut, was third, also with a high number of votes.

After scoring the 95’ winning goal in a 1:0 victory over Hapoel Hadera you voted Dor Peretz as the April HISENSE Player of the Month.

Peretz went neck and neck with Dor Micha and Avi Rikan as he took 43% of the popular vote.

After scoring the Championship goal against Maccabi Haifa, Aron Schoenfeld was named the March HISENSE Player of the month.

The striker’s goal was his third of the season as he just beat our Dor Micha and Eliran Atar for this month’s honor.

Maccabi FIRST members voted Eliran Atar as the HISENSE December Player of the month. The striker was integral to the Yellow & Blue’s success throughout the month and took the top spot after a close battle with Maor Kandil who finished in second and Dor Peretz who came in third.

Eliran Atar’s good start to the season has earned him the HISENSE Player of the Month award yet again.
