Maccabi Tel Aviv's first summer signing of the 2013/14 season, 24 year-old midfielder Dan Einbinder, came up through the ranks of the youth system at Beitar Jerusalem and won the Under-19s league championship with the club in the 2007/08 season. He made his maiden appearance for the senior squad in a 2-0 triumph over Maccabi Tel Aviv at Jerusalem's "Teddy" Stadium in May 2009, a season in which Beitar won the coveted State Cup. Einbinder made no appearances that season in Cup competition but all told he appeared in a total of 64 league matches for the club, scoring five goals.
In the summer of 2012 Einbinder signed with Ironi Kiryat Shmona and made 29 league appearances in which he scored two goals, both of them in one match against Bnei Yehuda. He scored a further two goals in State Cup competition and saw his club reach the finals where they lost to Hapoel Ramat Gan in a penalty shoot-out. In European competition, Einbinder played with Kiryat Shmona in the qualifying stages of the Champions League and after his side were relegated to the Europa League, Einbinder played in all six matches of the group stage. He made his first official appearance for Maccabi Tel Aviv when he came off the bench in the return leg of the third round Champions League qualifiers against FC Basel. As an international, he made five appearances for the Israel Under-19 squad and has been capped once for the Under-21s.
