Fans turned out in numbers to the Kiryat Shalom training Grounds to meet the players and get their pictures taken at the Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club Open House
Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club's tradition of opening their doors to their loyal fans continued on Thursday afternoon with yet another Open House at the Kiryat Shalom Training Grounds. Unlike at the matches themselves,the Open House is a fantastic opportunity for our players to devote all their attention to the very people who make those matches such a special and encouraging experience for them, and Thursday afternoon was no exception. With cameras, i-phones and microphones at the ready, fans were treated to an afternoon with their favourite Maccabi Tel Aviv stars, who smiled at the cameras and, on rerquest, wished anyone with a birthday, a bar mitzvah or a wedding their warmest wishes. In return the fans wished the players good luck in the next match and in all the other matches this season. In between fans visited the official Maccabi Tel Aviv shop where they were able to purchase team jerseys and a wide variety of other articles in their favourite Maccabi colours. After the fans had departed, the players carried on with their evening training session and continued through Friday and Saturday in preparation for their Saturday night tie against FC Ashdod.
