Schunat HaTikva hosted Maccabi “Shachar” Tel Aviv and host Bnei Yehuda in Guy Tzarfati’s first game in charge of the Under-19 team. Last Matchday the young Yellow & Blue defeated Hapoel Rishon Le’Zion 6:0 and the new boss saw no reason to change up his Starting XI after last week’s win.

First Half

In the 5th minute Maccabi had a wonderful opportunity to take a quick lead as Dasa sent a gorgeous pass to Almog in the box but the striker couldn’t get off a good shot as the Bnei Yehuda keeper corralled the ball. Soon thereafter Yarden Shoa from Bnei Yehuda had a one-on-one chance on Yellow & Blue keeper Omer Katz, but the shot stopper’s long legs helped him keep the ball out of his team’s goal.

Tzarfati had to make his first substitution in the 15th minute due to Shay Golan’s injury as Rahni Hamza entered the game. Maccabi “Shachar” couldn’t create many chances as the star of the half was the aforementioned Katz who saved three certain goals.

Both sides didn’t make any changes as the second half began, however beginning in the 65th minute Tzarfati introduced Eden Kartzev, Ron Zamir and Amit Shapira. In the 77th minute Shapira received a fantastic deep pass from Dasa and sent Almog a terrific ball that the striker blasted into the Bnei Yehuda goal for a 1:0 Maccabi lead.

One minute from time, Or Dasa beat the host keeper to give the Under-19 side a 2:0 win, three points and a two match winning streak.
