Prematch
With a two match win streak, Maccabi “Shachar” returned to the Ramle Stadium where they hosted Hapoel Raanana. Guy Tzarfati made one change to his Starting XI as Eden Kartzev replaced the injured Shay Golan
First Half
The Yellow & Blue opened the half well, controlling the tempo, however having a tough time finding opportunities close to the goal. But in the 34th minute Maccabi had a wonderful chance to take the lead and they did just that. From the left side, Eden Kartzev lifted a smart ball over the defense right to a waiting Or Dasa who made no mistake and found the back of the goal giving the hosts a 1:0 lead that they took into the break.
Second Half
Guy Tzarfati made no substitutions going into half number two as both sides split time with the ball. However, in the 56th minute Yuval Teitelman took a long range shot that got through the Maccabi defense and went into the goal drawing Raanana even 1:1.
With five minutes remaining in the contest, the visitors scored again as they took advantage of a 30 meter free kick which located Raanana’s Gil Cohen in the box for a 2:1 lead that held up until the final whistle.
