The video will be a text book for the players to learn from their errors and how to do things better in the future. We scored 4 goals and were able to comeback after being down 4:2 in the 60’. It’s the second match in a row that we scored near the end of the game and that shows a lot of character on our part. Maccabi Haifa 3:1 Maccabi “Eli Fuchs” Tel Aviv
The Club’s Under-16 team opened up their season with a loss at Maccabi Haifa on Matchday 1 as Yonatan Paz’s goal wasn’t enough for the young Yellow & Blue. Head Coach Eran Sassi spoke about the contest: “The match began with us in control and we had a number of good scoring chances. We also started the second half well but missed an open goal, however, we ended up scoring a little bit later to take a 1:0 lead. Haifa drew even in the 60’ due to a number of errors in the box. Over the last few minutes, they took advantage of mistakes by our defenders and scored another goal. During added time we tried to even up the match but we gave up the third goal on a counter attack. We’ll continue to work hard.”
