Technological advances: Brand new system in the Youth Department

The Club's Sports Science Department in conjunction with BlazePod are using a brand new training system for the Under-19 squad. The system simulates actual match situations which require quick decisions, teamwork all while improving technical and tactical abilities. Watch the system in action

Good first step: The Under-19 squad takes home a 3:1 win

Maccabi “Shachar” Tel Aviv played their first friendly of the 2017/18 season. The Yellow & Blue defeated HaKoach Ramat Gan’s First Team 3:1 thanks to goals by Dasa, Thomas and Shalata. Head Coach Guy Tzarfati: “I enjoyed the way we won but there is plenty of work ahead”

Now it’s their turn/ Under-16’s begin training

Maccabi “Eli Fuchs” Tel Aviv opened up training for the 2017/18 campaign with Head Coach Alon Brumer. Raymond Atteveld, the Director of the Under-16 squad added: “The players have gotten older and the demands will now be increased. They have plenty of time to prepare themselves to take part in the process”

Maccabiah Participants on trial at the Youth Department

Over the course of the past week couple of weeks, 20 youngsters from various countries have taken part in the Youth Department’s training sessions after impressing the Club’s scouts during the Maccabiah. This was an excellent way in finding young talent and an opportunity to make new connections

The Under-17 Club opens up training

Maccabi “Oded” Tel Aviv opened up their 2017/18 season training camp as Eliezer Ben Aharon will continue as Head Coach. However, there were a couple of new faces at the session as assistant coach Dedi Ben Dayan and goalkeeping coach Kale Dreshler joined the staff
