Vladimir Ivic, the Yellow & Blue Head Coach looked back at his Club’s 2:0 win over Radnicki in the first leg of second round Europa League qualifying while also looking towards next week’s second leg:

“Yes I’m satisfied but we missed a lot of chances. We started strong in the first half and we controlled the play 70-80% of the time. It’s not easy when the other team stands behind the ball and when it’s 10 v 11 players it’s not easy to create chances. We must work harder to try to attack in a different way. We played the last 12-13 minutes with a player less and I can be satisfied. But we aren’t finished and we must be very strong in the game in Nis, Serbia because they came without 3-4 players and I’m sure it will be more difficult for us.”

Working hard for the upcoming matches:
“We just finished the first half of the game and the second half will be in a week. We must work hard and we have to be careful and try to fix some things which weren’t good today. We have the Toto Cup Sunday and then the second leg against Radnicki after that.”

About Vidar Kjartansson and his two goal performance:
“Vidar is our player and he is a Maccabi player with us. I’m happy for him because he scored two goals and we have another two strikers whom we have to give a chance to as well. We have three good players in Vidar, Itay Shechter and Aaron Schoenfeld and they will all have their chances as we have the Toto Cup and then the Israeli League which will open up after that.”
