Education
The cooperation with Mikve Israel Education Institute allows the Maccabi Tel Aviv “Avi Cohen” FC Academy to have the opportunity to train at fixed times. The combination of school and professional football education is needed when the youth players want to reach their full potential. The study hours will be adjusted to the training schedule of the Academy.
For the players that need extra attention in certain subjects MTA FC will arrange in cooperation with Mikve extra study hours to improve their study level.
Leon Asraf is in charge of the player’s education and is in contact with the schools that the players attend in order to keep abreast of their situation and their performance. He also ensures that if the players are having difficulties that they receive the proper help and materials should they miss class due to training.
The Education Department not only deals with the player’s studies but also their contribution to the community, workshops, educational events and more.
