Maccabi continued their preparations for the 2026/27 campaign which will officially kickoff in Thursday’s Super Cup away to Hapoel Be’ersheva. Kenny Miller’s side recorded a 2-0 victory over newly promoted side Hapoel Ramat Gan in a practice match which was played at Kiryat Shalom on Saturday morning.
Dor Peretz put Maccabi in front as he headed a Roy Revivo’s corner in the 60th minute past Ramat Gan’s keeper Amit Reif. Ten Minutes later, Dan Glazer made his first outing in Maccabi’s colors since returning to the club on Wednesday. The 29-year-old replaced Issouf Sissokho at the heart of midfield to play 20 minutes. Inside injury time, Elad Madmon who was introduced for Saied Abu Farchi ten minutes earlier, received a through ball from Shahar Rosen and drilled a left foot shot into the bottom corner to double the score.
