IFA publish “Toto” Cup group-stage allotment

Maccabi have been assigned to group B of the "Toto" (League) Cup, together with Maccabi Netanya, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Ra'anana

The Israeli Football Association today published the assignments for the group stage of the season 2014/15 "Toto" (League) Cup. The competition will include a group stage, a quarter final over two legs, a semi-final and a final. The fourteen clubs at present in the Israeli Premier League have been divided into three groups, two groups of five and one group of four, on the basis of geographical proximity. As a result, Maccabi Tel Aviv find themselves in the group of four together with Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Ra'anana and Maccabi Netanya. The order of the matches will be determined in a draw to take place next Monday June 30^th.

In Maccabi's group of four there will be three matchdays, with two of the teams hosting twice and the remaining two only once. The teams advancing to the quarter finals will then learn of their opponents by means of a draw and compete over two legs for a place in the semis. The knock-out phase will begin at the semi-final stage, with the matches held at neutral venues.

The three groups for the season 2014/15 "Toto" Cup are as follows:

The matches for Maccabi's group B will be held on three successive Saturdays beginning on August 2^nd. The first leg of the quarter finals will be played on October 28^th and 29^th, the return leg on the 2^nd and 3^rd of December. The semi-finals will take place on the 16^th and 17^th of December, with the final to be held on either the 30^th or the 31^st of December.
